Common Issues with Younger Patients

Early Ortho Treatment for Kids / Interceptive Treatment – There are some conditions that can benefit from early orthodontic treatment before all the permanent teeth have erupted. The American Association of Orthodontics recommends that all children be seen before their 7th birthday for their first consultation to determine if they can benefit from early treatment. Some problems that can benefit from early treatment are jaw growth discrepancies, and severe crowding, among others.
